From Havana you can reach - in less than 3 hours - other tourist attractions such as Viñales (Pinar del Rio), Abra del Canasí (Mayabeque), Varadero (Matanzas), Cienfuegos or Trinidad, which allows you to make interesting single day field trips from the capital.

The city exhibits a wide variety of architectural styles and has attractive squares, museums (such as the Museo de la Revolución, Cuban Art and Museo del Ron ...), art galleries and academies of national and international importance. Some of the most representative constructions of this province are Capitolio de La Habana, the Castillo de los Tres Reyes del Morro and the Catedral de La Habana.
For admirers of tropical nature, there is the Almendares Metropolitan Park, on the banks of the river of the same name. Located in the west of the city in the Bosque de la Habana area, this park is considered one of the most beautiful places in the capital due to its dense tropical vegetation.
The province is not known for its beaches, but the Eastern Beaches have nothing to envy to other of the most visited due to its crystal clear waters and fine sands; 30 minutes from the city center, they are a little paradise, both for locals and for foreigners.
