Horse ride Valle Ingenios

• Finca La Casona lies at a 10-minute walk from the historic center of Trinidad

• From there, at 09: 30h you will start a guided horse ride (suitable for children and beginners) through the Valle de los Ingenios.

• Return at 2:30 p.m. to taste a Creole fusion lunch from the Finca's very own organic garden.

The starting point is Finca La Casona, a ranch with views of the countryside where you can enjoy birds, lush mango groves and purebred horses.

Its privileged location offers the opportunity to live a unique experience on the border between the town of Trinidad and the Santa Rosa Valley.

A place to enjoy the benefits of a healthy and rustic environment with modern facilities settled in a mid-nineteenth century construction.

During the tour around the Valley you will see rivers, waterfalls and you can feel the natural beauty of this rural area. We will take guarapo (cane juice) extracted from a sugar mill, and we will also grind coffee in a pilon (mortar), prepare it and taste it with a cigar. Afterwards, we will refresh ourselves with a bath in the natural pool of the Hoyo del Pilón Waterfall.

The lunch will be served back in Finca la Casona. There, you can taste one of the best cuisines in Trinidad. They cook original and creative Creole food from its own organic garden.
