Day 1: Old Havana

1 Walk around Old Havana:

 

Old Havana,Cultural Heritage of Humanity, is worth a walking tour through its restored colonial streets and squares. The tour includes stops in very chosen places: from historic buildings, to panoramic terraces, with a selection of off-the-grid spots.

2 Visit a local art project:

We will have a meeting with a creator of a relevant artistic project. You can choose from our varied thematic selection of proposals to understand the operation of private businesses with products 100% made in Cuba, from art galleries, to craft workshops, goldsmiths, design stores or fashion brands.

3 Pairing with Cuban cigars and rum:

To get in touch with Cuban history and traditions, a sommelier will give you a master class to pair two of the products with the greatest Cuban flavor: rum and cigars. You will also learn the history of slavery that characterized the colonial period in the sugar cane fields and tobacco plantations and you will visit the Rum museum.

4 Discover the Afro-Cuban religion:

You will visit a house-temple, of a Cuban babalao, where they will explain the roots and ancestral rites of religions of African origin and how they are practiced today. In the Callejón de Hammel, a community cultural project full of art and allegorical altars to these religions will surprise you to the rhythm of rumba and drums.

Paladar de la Esperanza

We will make sure of having a good lunch at Havana in a restaurant away from the most touristy proposals. For dinner we will propose an emblematic paladar with the best traditional Cuban cuisine, a place with elegant colonial architecture with live music by a trio of Cuban son.

Depending on the cultural agenda for the day, you can choose from the varied range of shows that Havana offers: an emblematic tropical cabaret, ballet at the Gran Teatro de la Habana, boleros and traditional Cuban music, and why not, dance salsa with a good orchestra ...

Day 2: Modern Havana

ECCLECTIC AND CHARMING

Havana's Malecón

The most modern area of the city is quite eclectic. The influence of architectural styles from the United States and Europe coexist in its wide avenues of Centro Habana, Vedado and Miramar. Delve into its main arteries with a vintage touch, discover the secret of vintage cars, vibrate with the most popular rhythms and be surprised by its urban art.

1 Tour on a vintage american car: 

Riding in a classic car from the 50s will be a unique experience that will transport you to another era. A 1-hour panoramic walk along the Malecón and 5th Avenue, with its imposing mansions from the beginning of the century. Visit the Parque Metropolitano Almendares, where the river of the same name and the Bosque de La Habana are located. We will stop at the Hotel Nacional de Cuba.

2 Meet a local mechanic: 

 

You will be very impressed by how Cubans manage to keep these cars in such good condition. To do this, we will make an interesting stop with an owner of these luxury cars so that you know that, since 1960, the eclecticism of the city has also been extended to its cars.

3 Project on Urban Art Fusterlandia: 

 

This is one the most unusual spots of the city: a creative open-air project directed by the painter and ceramist José Fuster, who today has redesigned the facades of more than 80 buildings in his neighborhood with a marked influence of Gaudí and Picasso. You will be able to interact and support the project by shopping at their souvenir stalls.

4 Enjoy the Cuban rhythms 

If you are lovers of Cuban musical rhythms, folk dances or contemporary dance, we have various options to enjoy! From attending the rehearsal of a renowned ballet company, to taking Cuban salsa lessons, or simply enjoying, dancing and talking with a Cuban music band.

La Guarida rooftop

For lunch we will enjoy a paladar of seafood cuisine facing the sea in the Miramar neighborhood. That evening we will choose a paladar with innovative fusion cuisine in one of the coolest panoramic rooftops in Havana.

The night is cool! We will visit trendy places with current jazz-Latin rhythms, rock, or why not attend a jam-session at the Cuban Art Factory, a must in Havana at night.

Day 3: Viñales Valley

A RURAL EXPERIENCE

The Viñales Valley is one of the most spectacular natural environments in Cuba. In its singular landscape, the mogotes stand out, mountains with forms of great beauty that shape the valleys where the best tobacco in Cuba is grown.

You will stop to visit tobacco plantations and drying rooms in direct contact with peasants in the area who will offer you their best coffee and show you their way of life and the artisanal production of tobacco. You will also learn the art of twisting the coveted leaf. For lunch we will choose an agroecological farm with its own garden and spectacular views of the valley.

Paladar Ivan Chef Justo

As the last night it is worth enjoying Old Havana again, touring its squares by moonlight is something that will catch you forever. There we will choose a restaurant-art gallery to enjoy good food and good art. You will end the night to the best rhythm of Cuban son.
